WOW - From Out of the Stadium to Stadium Club

Well that was amazing...

Just watched this guy hit 61 homers in about 80 swings one went 497 feet and another had a 116mph exit velocity. Insane.

I mean that was great and all but walking in my LCS Saturday to find a freshly ripped box of Stadium Club for me to dig thru was a little better to be honest.

I mean you can't really top images like this.

Or this...

In fact I'm just gonna shut up, I don't really have words to describe these beautiful pieces of cardboard but I grabbed 31 for 7 bucks.

Obligatory Braves shot.

Thanks for reading/looking

Stadium Club Blaster

Friday. Yes it was Friday when I finally found glorious blasters of Stadium Club at a Target near me. I had stopped by last Friday and this Monday in search of the new product and to be honest I hadn't looked at too many of the images on purpose.

They had loose packs and hangers but I went for the blaster and Griffey was in my first pack. First card out was of Jayson Werth but i'm not making a National the feature card of any post on this blog.

My favorite part of Stadium Club the last couple years have been the black and white shots. Pulling a Braves player in 3 of the first 4 packs and 4 total in the blaster didn't hurt either.

Thank you Topps.

Who cares if these look a little like '97 Fleer, these things are freakin' beautiful. I wanna blow that Willie Mays image up and hang it in my living room.

My photos don't do these justice but here's 3 of my favorite cards of current stars.

"Dat me!"

The lone insert pulled was the Donald Trump of baseball himself...

Lastly here's the parallels. Probably keep the Aybar but the other 2 are up for grabs if anyone's interested. I grabbed 31 more base cards today at the LCS and will be getting a want list together soon for these if anyone has extras let me know.

All Trade Bait, All the Time

Oscar from All Trade Bait, All the Time sent me some awesome cards a while back and here they are.

This was the card that sparked the trade, Oscar pulled it right when GQ dropped so that shows you just how behind I am with trades/everything card related. I am almost done reorganizing everything out in the garage after losing my card room/office to my son.

This is by far my favorite card in the package. Mr first ever baseball game was at old Atlanta Fulton County Stadium.

2 classic Braves sluggers on cards I didn't have. Aloha!

Freddie is having a pretty good year despite the big league clubs results lately.

I want to thank Oscar once again for sending these. To all of my trade partners who are still reading, I have a ton of cards to pack up tonight for the first wave out of the garage. Wish They Still Came with Bubblegum is not dead I say!
